You have no idea how long i've been waiting for this weekend as a Liverpool fan. Laughing First the Manchester derby, then Arsenal and Chelsea go head-to-head. Typically Man United and Chelsea will walk away with victories i expect, but it has the potential to be a great day which i'm still holding hope onto.

But i do think United will win, to deny City a third consecutive league victory between the two sides. The 3-0 drubbing Sunday's hosts gave Arsenal's reserves last weekend hasn't got me convinced at all. They're really poor in defence compared to last campaign and you can't imagine that not being taken full advantage of. United really could do with a win here as well and will be fired up for it.

1-2

Its a tough match to predict. City have done very well against ManU in recent times. Infact I think they lead the head-to-head for the last 5 years I think. They've taken more points off ManU than ManU off City.

Then there is the thing that derby matches are hard to predict. Last year, both these matches were predicted to be won by ManU, but it didn't happen. I'd say nothing can be predicted for this match. Its a matter of who plays the best on the day...

Cant wait for this match, should be a cracker!

Is Robinho out? He could be the difference in my opinion, he was outstanding against Arsenal last week.

I till predict a United win tho, probably 2-1

This is Uniteds season right here.

Arsenal will beat or at least draw with Chelsea so it's imperative that United beat City here.

Rooney and Tevez up front and I hope Fergie leaves Gary Neville on the bench.

0-4 for United

I agree with BMJ that this match is absolutely huge to Man Utd's title chances.

And I think they'll get the three points they're after.

Man City 1-2 Man Utd.

We really need to win this match but I think we'll draw. Man City are formidable at home and we've been poor lately, plus Berbatov is out.

I think Arsenal play their best football against the other top 3. Arsenal always do well against teams that are also trying to win. They are always motivated and really up for the occasion.

I'm happy Berbatov is out. I hope Tevez gets a proper run. He's a confidence player that needs to play a string of 5-6 games. I think that Fergie will be mistaken if he thinks Tevez is a good "impact" off the bench type player. He deserves to play. He needs to play.

Tevez should play because he is much better than Rooney. Tevez and Berbatov should start.

Couldn't disagree more there. Rooney gives his all for the team and as a fan ya can't ask for anything more. Plus he's the future, patience is key here.

What? This is Manchester United, European and Domestic champions and one of the most successful sides in footballing history. I think we want just a little more than someone who'll work hard.

Rooney is not the future. Ronaldo, Rafael, Nani and Anderson, player who are playing well right now are the future. Rooney is 23 and in decline. He's a worse player now than he was four years ago.

How often do you watch Man Utd play? Do not let the media trick you, Rooney is criminally overrated. He never scores, he's off form all time (he played well in October against extremely weak opponents), he gives the ball away constantly. He chases the ball like a headless chicken and is constantly out of position for it, his finishing is atrocious, he heading is poor, his movement is League 2 stuff.

When you have to suffer watching Rooney play week in week out you'll realise what a mediocre player he is. Perhaps once every five matches he will do something top class and maybe 5 times a season he will be phenomenal all match but that's it. The vast majority of the time he does nothing, actually no, he does worse than nothing he takes up space on the field giving the ball away, missing crucial chances and keeping a player like Tevez who is consistant, tries harder, uses his brain and is all around a better team player on the bench.

I cannot wait for the day he leaves my football club. Other than maybe Raul at Real Madrid I can't think of another player in the world who can be off form for three entire seasons and still be guarenteed a place on the team, it is a complete disgrace how Tevez is being treated.

This will be a great game ,i can't see it any other way.All the best players will be up for this one,but for some reason i think Robinho's magic will rise and show why he's a better player in big games than Ronaldo.
2-1 City.

You won the Premiership and the Champions League without Berbatov last season so i can't really see what your getting at.... We're not that formidable at home with loses to Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs.

There's very rarely a comfortable victory in this or any other derby match... I actually think that score sounds about right just can't see us repeating last seasons heroics, but we won't make it comfortable for them in any single way...
