Birmingham 2 - Reading 1 |
|
Birmingham knocked Reading out of the FA Cup on goals from Mikael Forrsell in the 30th minute and the winner coming from Julian Gray in the 67th minute. Reading did tie the match on a 51st minute goal by Stephen Hunt. The attendance at St Andrews Stadium was 16,644.
My question for Hoopy is, where was Marcus Hahnemann and Bobby Convey? |

Good to see Forsell grab a goal. Maybe he'll start finding form and fitness, and help Birmingham rise in the league.

Ill answer Hoopys question, Reading had alot of their reserves on again. Hahnemann, Doyle, Lita, Convey were rested. Long, Hunt, Stack weere picked
I wanted Reading to win, their reserves drew with Birmingham last time but they were unlucky, Brums goal was against the run of play and although didnt watch the second half I heard they were unlucky |

Rested? Why a FA Cup game? They have a 10 point lead over Sheffield United in the league, rest them on the weekend.....Seems strange to me unless I'm missing the obvious here?
Also, still no Hoopy......a biot worried about the boy now, I hope he wasn't around any sharp objects when the final whistle was blown...... |
