I am a Prestonfan as you may or may not know. The match was a total sell out and the stage was set for a good FA cup match. We outplayed Brough for the whole of the first half but the end product was not upto standard. The had only 3 attacks in the whole game and scored 2 of them. it is such a cruel game and it was against the run of play totally. What i will say is the difference was Premiership quility of finishing by Brough. Thats what we lackes and consiquently rue'd out missed chances at the end. Very good game though take alot from it. It has proven to alot of fans that if and when we go up, with a little bit of money spent, we can challenge the likes of Brough and make a name for ourselves. It was a good cup run anyway but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth

This is the deifference in class and was the same for us against birmingham, premier league teams only need one chance to score. They have players like Hasselbaink who could walk into any Championship team, when Reading go up I hink it is the one area we will definately have to improve to survive.
