Is there any Direction for Welsh football, more to the question. Realistically the only way is up, but how can this be realised?

Having been to school in Wales I can tell you that football was not pushed as a sport at all. We had 3 rugby pitches at my school, but no football pitch. In our local village there are 5 rugby pitches, and only 1 football pitch. This doesn't look good for Welsh football at all.

I here this morning that the Welsh team have all but given up hope of qualifying for the next world cup, and are concertrating on the next European cup instead. As if we stand a chance! I hope we do, but realistically!!

Wales will never be any good at football unless the ball is oval - fair play in the five nations but if they cannot be any good even with Englands greatest ever winger in Ryan Giggs - what hope do they have.

Saying that the people of Wales ar epassionate and have belief! thats something!!!! Laughing

If only we could progress the national football side like we have the rugby side. But we do have like less than a quater of players that the FA have to choose for the england side

to be honest i dont think welsh football will ever be big, the clubs play in athletic stadiums with a capacity of about 1,000-2,000 with an average atendance of 100 well need new players, stadiums and wales will need a bigger reputation !!

The rugby ethos continues but look what that has gained!

Fair play in the 6 nations but in Football change the shape to what you know best!!!!!
