Rolling Eyes i bet AW agrees, lol
I'm going to say DIF - they've got Nordby now! and if all goes to plan and Kalmari figures out how to score again (like she did at UIK) they could have a goooood chance

1. DIF
2. UIK
3. LFC

nah AS it aint happening, MFF are not going to be top 3 this season! they've lost Andersson they missed out on Unitt, couldn't keep hold of Westberg for long Twisted Evil
Kopps might even do better than them! lol. Nilla Fischer should move to a different club....like LFC maybe Cool - a change of scenery would do her good Laughing

I too like MFF aswell as UIK; but I want to see a change at the top - new blood if you like & LFC has a lot of young NT players/future NT players.
2 LFC players you dislike - well Seger's obviously 1, but the other?
MFF has Sjögran do you like her? Cool

I don't like Sjogran or Lindahl - yes, yes, I know she'll be a great goalie one day, she's not too bad already.
But she took Jonsson's place in the Swedish 1st squad and I like Caroline very much so it's personal Twisted Evil haha!
And she plays nasty sometimes.
Oh well - most of the young Swedes do Razz Wink

haha; see I was rooting for Lindahl for 1st NT action when she moved from MFF Razz
NASTY - all these young Swedes; well there's hope Joey (Kopps) is nice!
LFC the new young powerhouse - MFF falling away - oh the rivalry Twisted Evil hope the new season lives up to expectations

If anyone would do better than my beloved UIK, I wouldn't mind if being Sunnanå. Very Happy
But that is just because they got a couple of players from my neighbourhood. Cool They did however play like crap so their previous team ended up last in the league Laughing

It's obvious that you don't have any clue what you're talking about! MFF falling away? Ha! The age average at MFF right now are 21-22 years, so I don't see LFC as the "new powerhouse". A big part of the youngsters at MFF represented the youth NT. 3 at U21, 2 at U19 and 2 at U17. Then we got 7 players who are (or has) represented the senior NT. Dora Stefansdottir, new from Valur, is the most talented icelandic player right now.

And let me see... I just think there will be a suprise when the season starts, about a special player... Rolling Eyes

Last year, everyone turned down MFF and said that the will parked in the middle of the table...

If any of you has seen Damallsvenskan live, you probably will realize that the league is very uneven. And I thought that LFC was going built a better team than last year, but the new player has not that quality to bring the team higher then last year. Frida Östberg is probably the leagues most overrated player. And then the miss a great forward/striker. Josefine Öqvist is not good enough. She has the ability to miss the goal to much. She just fast, that's all. She reminds me of Sara Johansson, same kind of player, and always has injury...

Umeå will probably win this year, again. Their team is pretty much intact since last year, and got a great player at Lise Klaveness. MFF has a lots of new players and new coaches, and it will take some time for everything to get into pieces.
Djurgården has lost a lots of players (7), but has replaced with 3 new international.

As every year, the top 3 teams will be Umeå, Djurgården and MFF.

Welcome aboard Sjögran, what an original username...

Good to have you here, I'm curious to your views on football, especially the Swedish league Smile

Could you explain who are you talking about here, please:

I don't know what you have against Frida,
but I have to agree about Öqvist - she's a joke in women's football.

I haven't seen many Damalsvenskan games
and those I've seen were only Umea, Malmo, DIF and a few others.
I'm not an expert as for the Swedish league,
but there are people here who watch the games regularly,
so please try to refrain from comments such as:
"If any of you has seen Damallsvenskan live..." or
"It's obvious that you don't have any clue what you're talking about!" Smile

Happy posting!

Rivalry indeed, right here on the board Laughing
Welcome to the board Agent Sjögran. But I must say I agree with our Mod here, respect others thoughts, ideas and comments and you will be treated the same way. Cool Sometimes something that are meant to be a joke for some might not be conceived as a joke for others. Think that is why we use smileys a lot Cool

Yeah I was surprised about that, since they did have lot's of national team players left, although Westberg left Wink But I do think that this season will be harder for the team. Yes they have Sjögran, Jönsson, Lundin, Fischer etc but they also have lot's of new young players and a new coach like you say. And that I think will be a real challange for them, that is why I don't have MFF on my top three list this year.

Agent Sjögran wrote:

Yes I have seen it live several times, plus the ones on tv. And yes I agree, it is still very uneven, from the bottom to the top. But I do think that we will get more teams that can steal a point or two from the top teams. I got the footie magazine "Nya mål" today and I was happy to read that there are other teams that have it as a goal to win the swedish championship within a few years. And they know they have to work hard for it, so that should improve the quality of the game.

About Frida, I think everyone thinks of her as the Frida she was during the WC 2003. She hasn't lived up to that since then. So maybe a change of environment will do her good?

Jossan, well she came from nowhere and has returned Wink Now free from injuries from what I know, so it's time for her to "deliver".

I'd be happy to see her in the Premiership Smile
She could join some lower ranked team and help them improve their game Cool
But that's just my wishful thinking Wink
