Marco Materazzi has revealed that he would be open to a move from Inter to Milan in the summer.

The Nerazzurri defender has been unsettled in the blue and black half of the San Siro and has been linked with a switch to the red and black side. It is believed that a falling out with Coach Roberto Mancini is behind the former Everton player's desire to change clubs. The Italy international has been out of favour recently and would not be the first player to cross the Milan divide, with high-profile names like Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo and Christian Vieri all making the move in recent seasons.

"I have an excellent relationship with everyone at Milan," the 32-year-old told Sky Italia. "After all, I consider Gennaro Gattuso as a godson and I get on well with all the Milanisti," he added. Milan would be keen on bringing Materazzi in given that Jaap Stam leaves for Ajax in the summer while Billy Costacurta and Marcos Cafu are also expected to call time on their Rossoneri careers.
