New Celtic boss Gordon Strachen has hasd a bid for Hibs Striker Riordan rejected by Hibs gaffer Mowbray. The scottish young player of the year tops Strachans transfer wish list this summer and most likely will return with an improved offer.

Hibs would like to cash in on Riordan instead of losing in for nothing after his contract expires next year.

i think Celtic would be a great move for him.

If Hibs are to succeed in this two sided league. They need to keep there best players. They done well to reject a bid from Celtic, and if Strachan really wants him he will offer a more improved bid then wont he

Yes he will, I cannot believe we are messing Hibs around for a couple of hundred thousand, it's absurd, two offers refused, Hibs have valued the lad at £500,000 he is easily worth that, pay them. And we wonder why the rest of the SPL cannot compete

Celtic to make an offer around 750.000 and they will get their man.
