I know that mastercard have a lot of power, but to decide who gets to go to the world cup.

Has anyone else heard of this?

I dont have a credit card nor am I likely to get one of the plastic helpers of satan but if it means I cant go see my country in the world cup.... Thats just not right, footie for everyone not just the rich.

I suppose it is wrong but with the ever increasing influx of sponsors into sports it should be expected. But it is also pretty damn easy to get a credit card in this day and age, they will give one to pretty much anyone, not just the rich. And even if people do not want to go out and get a Mastercard I would say it is a pretty fair bet that they will know someone who has one.

In my opinion it will only fuel the already out of hand touting and upset numerous people that cannot supply the mastercard that the tickets were bought on and therefore will not be allowed into the games!

I think its scandalous. They reckon you might be able to get them through the fa on a different card later but thats just not on, one of the reports I read says that Britain is 70% visa anyway.
