Larsson flattered by Barcelona pleas to stay |
|
Henrik Larsson says he can't be talked out of his decision to leave Barcelona for Helsingsborg in the summer.
Barca fans are displaying signs at the Nou Camp pleading with the Swede to stay, while sports director Txiki Begiristain has also admitted he'd love to sign him to a new deal for next season. But Larsson said: "It's all very flattering, but my mind is made up. It's a decision I've taken with my family and I can't change it." |

Respect to Larsson that he's honoured his word he'd join Helsingborg, not many would stick by it

Would be good that he continued one or two years more but he will go out and we will have to search another striker. He is playing very well last games and scoring some goals. He has already scored 9 goals in La Lliga this season.

I too admire him sticking to his words, his priorities seem to quite clear at this stage in his career when he says, ''It's a decision I've taken with my family and I can't change it." He is to be respected for going out his way, which makes him a winner no matter how you look at it.
