Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

What the hell happened????

I was pretty peed of cause I missed the first few minutes and bammer 2-0 already!! Fortunately another five came along! I can't say anything bout the first two cause I haven't seen it but the three in between were pure class! The last two were probably fortunate events. Tibely own goal and a shot from Cisse which Maik Taylor really should have done better.

Crouch's 2nd goal was beautiful indeed. Garcia held off two players and then threaded the ball for Crouch. Garcia was back in it as he produced a brilliant dummy for Gerrard to pass a ball for Morientes who scored a simple tap in. And what can I say about Riise? Missed a couple of games through injury and he came back with his trademark Rocket which even some Brum fans applauded. It was rising all the way!!

Lets hope this continues all the way to the end of the season. 15 goals in the past three games!!

And Gaz, what do you think of Garcia now? Hahaha Laughing

well done by Liverpool, anytime you get that many goals things have to be clicking, but I must say that Birmingham was totally horrible, and I had to feel sorry for Bruce. There defense was not........

The boys tonight were outstanding.... rafa has a simply got an understanding of how to use a sqaud and yes no one wants to have 2 games in three days.... but the manner in which we dispatched of birmimgham tonight shows the progression of the club in the last yr! AM VERY VERY HAPPY! Very Happy

Hopefully we can continue to go from strength to strength throughout the remainder of the season, then bring in those key players we are missing and next yrs title race will become something special!

YNWA! Razz

Great Game. I was the Same Yeekiat, thought it was an 8 O'Clock kick off so turned on to find the score already 2:0. Great goals and once again i was impressed with Gerrard laying it up for Morientes instead of going himself was very team spirited.

Shame Crouch came off and didn't get his hattrick as he was playing very well. I agree with whats been said about his second goal, Garcia did very well getting past the defence but i don't know whether that says more about the defence then it does about Garcia.

I was worried about Sissoko playing without his glasses though, you would have thought they would have trieled them first and found that they steamed up though wouldn't you? Its great to see him back so soon but one more knock and he could lose a lit more of his sight.

I think that Steve Bruce may well be on his way they were outclassed all over the pitch and their defence looked appaling.

Yeah i know Grimsby had a bad season a couple of years ago when we lost 8:0, 6:0, 6:1 and 5:0 twice so i can empathise how badly it feels.

The match was great to watch.

Yeah I think he needs to call up Edgar Davids for some advice with regards to the glasses.

Rafa has now officially beaten every manager in the Premiership. Steve Bruce was the final piece of the puzzle.

Excellent performance once again from the reds,we are looking really hungry and revitalised, it looks like the pressure of defending the Champions League trophy was really putting a strain on the players.....15 goals in 3 games now and we look superb....

As for Garcia Yeekiat,i agree both him and Kewell both played really well but i still wouldn't have Garcia next season,he is still too wasteful for me and tries too many silly flicks and passes that no normal player would ever try and they never hardly come off which is very annoying, but fair enough he played really well last night but he hasn't changed my opinion of him lol

Hahaha, ok then. Fair enough. Well I thought the dummy trick today was brilliant. I want Garcia to be played more as a second striker than a winger. I personally think thats where his creativity is best used. He's more useful there.

40 yard header? ...hmmm
anyways...i thought maik taylor had a terrible game to say the least. he allowed a few soft goals(like crouch's header and cisse's) anyways well done reds...i guess we have to knock you out ourselves...lol

Yeah lol, its possible.

I've read the original thread on BBC's 606 forum about the 7-0 prediction. The guy who made it meant its as a joke and wanted to wind up the Brum fans. Hahaha. I mean "Reina scores from goal kick"???

Anyhow BBC has made him famous now! Must have been a great day for the lad!

Maybe Liverpool will now complain that their games are not coming fast enough, if they can play like that every 2 days... hmmm... haha.

For a side that was struggling for goals, they made it look amazingly easy, but then, Brummys defence also helped with that. Laughing
