Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera has refused to rule out a move to Barcelona.

Helguera is fed up with being frozen out at Real and ahead of tomorrow's big clash with Barca said: "Me, join Barcelona ... why not?

"I will always do my best for my family. This will be the first time I will not be involved in a Real Madrid-Barcelona game."

I really don't know how Real Madrid can afford not to have Helguera's experience in that back four. Real's defence has been rubbish all season, and they wonder why? Rolling Eyes

I heard that Helguera has a bad relationship with the coach. They neither say hello.

Yep, that's true.
And Helguera has been the worst defender of Real this season (and being the worst defender in Real Madrid is the worst thing that can happen to you). I don't what has happened with Helguera this season, He used to be one the best in the back.

How can he be worse than Raul Bravo or Metija?

Who is Metija?
Raul Bravo is terrible, but Helguera is at least as terrible as him this season.

Your not very loyal, he has been one of your best defenders since Hierro. In your opinion one bad season constitutes a player being rubbish? He has been one of your best players over the last couple of seasons.

Oh, yes, I like Mejía, although he's not my favourite defender...neither Confused
And about Helguera, I think that loyalty has nothing to do here, I mean, Helguera has been a great defender during the last seasons, but I think it's fair to say that He has not been good this season, and it doesn't mean that I'm complaining about him, but it's a normal thing that he doesn't play if he is not in good shape, you know.

Which Real Madrid defender has been in good shape this season? Sergio Ramos is still very young so no one can blame him, if it was not for Casillas then Madrid would be in an even more uncomfortable situation.
