Real Madrid are on the verge of a double raid for Uruguay international pair Carlos Diogo and Pablo Garcia.
Osasuna midfielder Garcia and River Plate winger Diogo are both represented by super agent Paco Casal, who held talks with a Real Madrid representative last week.
Casal met with the Madrid intermediary in Buenos Aries and they both took in Argentina's victory over Brazil before discussing the possibility of Diogo and Garcia signing for Real.
A source close to negotiations told AS yesterday: "Yes, it is true that Diogo is on the verge of being a player of Madrid.
"We have been negotiating with his agent for three months, but we have been very discreet. For that reason nothing was known... until now that you have published the news."
Diogo is a great player and would be good for them, Garcia is pretty good too, what do you think?
