Oh [beep!] this is terrible news, just when we need our inspirational Captain for the run in.

Atleast Gardner has been playing well lately, an able replacement.

Abou Diaby is out for a while now.
I am surprised the FA did not take any action considering the gravity and the length
of the indisponibilty. It send the wrong message taht you can badly injure an opposition player and
get away with a simple booking Rolling Eyes
I was used to seeing referee at lower level not doing a lot but at Permiership level it is perplexing.
Should we see this during the world cup I am sure a 3 match ban would come straight away.
No wonder why Arsenal is looking to take legal action.

yeah , i have not seen the tackle so i cannot say whether the guy deliberately intended to hurt Diaby . What do you all think about this .

Senderos facing three months out

Quote:
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Philippe Senderos will be out for up to three months after dislocating his shoulder at the World Cup.

With Sol Campbell having left and other defenders injured, Wenger said they may be forced into the transfer market.

"We have lost Senderos for the next three months and Johan Djourou and Gael Clichy have had injuries," he said.

"If we find a player who can play centre back, left back then we are still open."

He picked out highly-rated West Brom defender Curtis Davis for particular praise.

"Curtis Davies I like. I have not made an inquiry or a bid but I like the player."

Arsenal's World Cup players are due to return to training later this week, and Wenger admitted another one of them - Freddie Ljungberg - was also injured.

"Freddie has had an inflammation in his foot," said Wenger.

"We have to check it with a scan. We will see."

It has also been announced that Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas will wear the number four shirt this season, which used to belong to Patrick Vieira and was unused in 2005/06 following the Frenchman's move to Juventus.

I reckon they might sign a new centre back.

i agree with yeekiat but wenger has said that he will bide his time over signing a new centre back(probably c.davies) . wenger seems 2 b really confident in his current squad from the look of his interview it seems as if he will just play youre and cygan or toure and djorou in the heart of defense. but in my opinion with campbell released and senderos probably out fr a month wenger shud buy a new gud centre back WaT do u think guys? Crying or Very sad
