AC Milan plan bid for Barcelona's Marquez

AC Milan are interested in Barcelona's versatile defender Rafael Marquez.

The Mexico international will be a Spanish national by the end of this season and Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida is keen to bring him to Italy next summer.

Marquez was linked with Chelsea in August and has insisted his future lies at the Nou Camp.

Although it does not look probable, how much do you think it would take to pry Marquez away from Barcelona?

Well he's had a new contract about two or three months ago with a transfer fee clause which i remember it was quite alot.

I don't think Barcelona will sell him, but in that case, they'd ask for, at least, 15-20 million pounds.

he is one of barca's most important players and one of the best defenders in the world at the moment. He had a great world cup and it comes as no surprise at all that milan want him, nesta still has a few years left and they could make an excellent partnership, maybe better than marquez' with puyol.
