I agree that its a shame about the times of the matches.

Had to get up early to watch The Murray v Nadal encounter!

    In the womens tournament

    Venus Williams is out!

    Beaten by a Chinese player.

I hear we could have a first ever all Chinese final in the womens game.

Maybe you can tell us a bit more about these 2 Chinese tennis players Learning?

Can't say I've been following the womens' at all. But that does sounds interesting.

We now know the semi finals!

Tsonga just overcame Djokovic in a 5 setter. Whooped the Serb in the final set 6-2 i think. So the semi's are:

    Federer v Tsonga

    Murray v Cilic.

I watched Zheng's match against Kirilenko and she was quite impressive, Kirilenko had an injury but Zheng was always well on top. If a Chinese player wins it it will probably create a huge amount of interest in China and Im sure it wont be too long before the Chinese take over from the East Europeans as the dominant force in the game

    You could be right Conaldinho.

The Russians seem to be dominating womens tennis at the moment with the likes of Saffina etc.

Its a disgrace that we don't even have one decent female player in The UK!

Its not like they don't get lots of financial help but they just don't seem to have what it takes

Better than this country at least

For such a small country we've got some real quality in the likes of football, rugby, golf etc but tennis definitely isnt one of our strong points

I've been watchin a ton of games.

I want to see a Murray vs Tsonga final with Murray to win it.

    Murray's in the final!

He beat Cilic in 4 sets, after losing the first.

The last set he cruised pretty much. Pulled out some amazing shots. Both his defence and offence were awesome.

I was up early with the birds this morning to watch Murray's semi final.

Was a bit worried after he lost the first set and started doing badly in the second set.

But he managed to slowly turn things around and by the end was in complete control.

I think Cilic looked tired after having been through that 5 set affair with Roddick the other day.

So we wait to see who Murray will play in the final

Will it be Federer or Tsonga?

I hope the Frenchman wins and Federer has a day to forget!

The womens final will be between Serena Williams and Justin Henan on Saturday.
