What are the 2 un-named leagues in FIFA 08

anyone got any really educated guesses?

Why is EA not naming the new leagues yet when the game is being released in less than 2 months.

Australian league, Russian League and Argentinian league are a chance.

    what do YOU reckon?

The Russian and Argentinian league would be good.

No offence to Australia, but they don't really have any decent teams in their league compared to top leagues in Europe.

    And Russia do?

    Lokomotiv Moscow and uh....

2004/2005 UEFA cup champions, CSKA Moscow.

    That good enough for you?

When the league is heading into only it's 3rd season and there is a salary cap, what do you expect?

Still not good enough to be in FIFA IMO.

Clubs from the a-league are as good as or better than clubs from the english lower leagues (div 1 or 2).

They have only been around for 3 years so there has never been any real chance for any club to become famous.

With that said Sydney FC in its short history has beaten the 'african team of the century' , Egypts Al Ahly at the FIFA World Cup and have stood toe to toe and outplayed Japan's Champions Urawa Red Diamond.

I would never suggest that the a-league is a top world league but there are some quality players here and many aussie clubs could stand up and even beat more than a few clubs already included in the FIFA series

besides, all aussies want to see the a-league included and australia has a big consumer base so it is in EA's interest to include it and at the end of the day thats what determines which leagues are included.

one other thing about the a-league is that unlike in the Russian league and sooo many other leagues in europe, it isnt dominated by one or two clubs that have all the money and win the league EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!

Every club in australia has a real shot at the title making it one of the most hotly contested leagues in the world. last year only one of the eight teams was out of contention for the for the title in the last five rounds.

It is one of the last example of a national football league that isnt dominated by bloated corporated dollars and billionares who just BUY premierships with their fat cheque books

    ..oops! sorry i am ranting again..totally off topic!...but true.......Go FIFA08

here here!! I'm for A-League in FIFA08!! Imagine the new "Hero Mode" thing they are bringing in where you do a whole career with 1 player I'd use Carney or Sasho Petrovski and run through all the crappy Melbourne defence
