England v Australia - The Ashes

Cricket's signature Test Series battle, The Ashes, starts on the 25th of November at the "The Gabba".

There will be 5 tests across Australia.

    England currently hold the Ashes.

Will the Australians tonk the poms 5-0 like they did last time England came to Australia?

    or

Will the English finally be able to put it all together and retain the urn by either drawing the series or winning it?

    Thoughts? Predictions?

Thanks for starting this thread BMJ.

I thought I was The only cricket fan on The forum!

Its been a very long time since England last won The Ashes in Australia.

I don't think that we will ever have a better chance than now to do it again.

It should be a very interesting series.

    At least Pakistan aren't playing!

Well I wouldn't call myself a cricket fan but I must admit there's something relaxing about sitting back with a few steaks on the bbq sizzling away sipping on beer with one eye on the cricket in 35deg heat.

I think England has got a great chance to retain the Ashes in Australia.

I agree England have a fantastic chance of winning the series.

Australia look so disjointed at the moment and have no idea what their best team is. There is also problems in the camp aswell with a lot of players I think unhappy with Clarkes role in the team and the seemingly inevitable rise of him to captain.

Hussey, North, Haddin should all be sitting out these. There is much better replacements floating around the domestic competition here.

Ill be at the boxing day test (the 4th) here in Melbourne. Havent decided who i'll be cheering for yet.
