England had friendly ODI wins against both Ireland and South Africa
Now the Champions Cup tournament gets under way which is being held over here.
We won our first game against Bangladesh although they made us work hard for it.
Next up is New Zealand in Cardiff.

Great win for England in the first test against South Africa when it looked to be heading for a draw. Ali was on top form with the ball and Joe Root will be delighted with his performance and his first test victory as Captain.

So after the great win in the 1st Test we come crashing back down to Earth with a humiliating defeat in the 2nd Test!. Losing by 340 runs our batsmen looked lost. Jennings, Stokes and Broad all out for a duck in the 1st innings and no-one able to reach a half century in the 2nd innings. Gary Ballance looks to be out for the next test after injuring his hand.
At least the women are into the World Cup Final!.

It was a shocking display in that 2nd test against South Africa.
The good news is that Gary Balance is injured and will have to miss 3rd Test!

England win test series 3-1 against South Africa.
The Africans have been really poor this summer losing
the T20 and ODI series
I thought Moeen Alli was fantastic and is becoming a great all rounder with bat and ball.
Next up is West Indies
