The 3rd Test against South Africa starts today.
England need to win it to stay the No1 test side in the world
Our best batsman Kevin Pietersen was dropped for sending rude text msgs about his own team mates to the opposition

South Africa won the 3rd test by just 51 runs but it means they are now the No1 test side in the world.
There is now a series of one day internationals to come and then some Twenty20 matches before the world cup starts.

South Africa won the 2nd ODI and are now also the No1 one day team in the world.
The big news this week was that England captain Andrew Strauss decided to retire from all forms of cricket.
He had been in charge since 2004 and scored over 7,000 test runs and been one of the best catchers in the game.
The new man will be Essex batsman Alastair Cook.

Essex batsman Alastair Cook is our new captain after Andrew Strauss retired from all forms of cricket a week or so ago.

Congrats to England who have won their tour of India with a 2-1 victory.
This is the first time we have won over there for 28 years and that they have lost a home series for 8.
