This Saturday will mark Arsene Wenger's 1,000th match in charge of Arsenal when they take to the field against Chelsea.

Surely this deserves some recognition whatever you think about the Frenchman?

    I only got 40%

Can you imagine if David Brent was Arsenal manager and Arsene Wenger the office boss?! That would be crazy

When quizzed today on Wengers 1000th game in charge of the Gunners Mourinho
afforded the Arsenal manager no plaudits.

Mourinho finished his brief interview by saying he wants to emulate Wenger's 1,000
games."If Chelsea give me the chance I will be the happiest man in the world"

Mourinho couldn't even dignify the occasion with his silence ,he is a graceless little man.

Felicitations Monsieur Wenger ....Take a bow

I don't mind admitting respect for the old boy - two double winning seasons is a fine achievement in the modern game. I've said it before, but if he had come to Spurs and achieved the same he would be a legend in my mind. I know there will be plenty of Gooners calling for his head if they win nothing this season, but his boots will be mighty big ones to fill and I'm not sure there are many obvious candidates out there.

There is a very strong chance Arsenal will win the F.A. cup and finish top four this season. That may be a little disappointing for some Arsenal fans, given the strong start they had, but if you had been offered that in August would you really have said 'not good enough'?
    He's magic you kno-oow, Mauricio Poch-ett-ino!

According to 'The Telegraph' Arsenal are only prepared to offer Wenger
a two year extension ,and have started drawing up contingency plans
for his eventual replacement ....Apparently according to sources within
the club, Wenger has already agreed in principle to extend his current
contract ,but will not sign until the seasons culmination and hopefully
a very successful day out at Wembley is attained.

If Arsenal dont win the FA Cup this season then Wenger should stand down and let someone else take charge.

On the other hand if the Gunners do win the FA Cup it would be an ideal moment for the Frenchman to quit with a final trophy and his reputation intact.

sorry ...but I think his reputation has suffered badly over the last few seasons , no one can deny he is the best manager that Arsenal have ever had in terms of success ...but his reputation has been tainted somewhat (in my opinion) by his inability to change with the times ...and of course the nearly 10 year trophy drought .
