Rangers winning run of 16 matches came to an end when they could only draw 1-1 with Ayr.

The Gers returned to winning ways though on Monday when they won 4-0 away at Dunfermline.

Congrats to Rangers for winning the title with 8 matches to go! Will they finish the season unbeaten?

    Re: Rangers Thread

Rangers get beaten by Raith via a last minute goal in extra-time in the Ramsdens cup final.

Never mind, ive seen Ramsdens adverts and they accept runners-up medals!

    Re: Rangers Thread

From what ive heard Rangers could slip back into administration quite soon. If they are still in this position at the start of next season then its a 15 point deduction and with the quality of the Scottish Championship they could have a fight on their hands for promotion next season.

    Re: Rangers Thread

Mike Ashley has given Rangers a further £2 Million to keep them going, this is only a few months after handing over £1 Million just to get them to the end of the season. He also bought the Stadium naming rights to Ibrox for £1 but has decided against it. Its a real shame as I had high hopes of seeing Rangers playing at the 'I cant believe its not butter arena'. Even better if they sold the rights to Clover or Kerrygold!.

    Re: Rangers Thread

Rangers manager Ally McCoist is under massive pressure at the moment with the Gers trailing Hearts by 9 points
in the Championship at the moment plus they also got beaten 3-2 by Alloa in the Challenge cup and have missed out on the final.
I still think he will stay as coach though. They can still win promotion to the Premiership via the play offs so all is not lost yet.

    Re: Rangers Thread

If Rangers were to sack McCoist and his backroom staff it would cost them nearly £2 Million in compensation - they cant afford to get rid of him.
