It would be good to see the Dons win the league but I really don't think they have the legs to carry it off. I expect Celtic to lift the title again but im not expecting it to be any more than say 6 or 7 points in it.

    Dundee Utd 6-2 Dundee
    Aberdeen 2-0 St Johnstone
    Hamilton 5-0 Motherwell
    Ross County 1-3 Caley Tinks
    St Mirren 1-2 Kilmarnock

Aberdeen go top, at least temporarly as Celtic do have a game in hand. The Tayside derby looked like good value for money and El Highlando was a disaster for the Staggies . Personally I think we were robbed, 2 of the Caley goals were clearly offiside, we should have had at least one penalty and they were lucky to have 11 men on the pitch at then end......................haven't seen the game!. At least St Mirren and Motherwell lost too.

    Re: Scottish Prem/Champ 2014/15

    Ross County 0-1 Celtic
    Dundee Utd 3-1 Motherwell
    Hamilton 0-2 Inverness CT
    Kilmarnock 2-2 Partick Thistle
    St Mirren 1-2 Dundee
    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

Celtic were lucky to get the 3 points - a deflected goal and one of their worst performances all season (and there have been a few!). St Mirren also lost and Arquinn got sent off again - he has been sent off twice in his first 2 games!. Motherwell also got humped and we have 2 games in hand over the Buddies so all is not lost but we need to start picking up points and fast!.

    Dundee 1-0 Partick Thistle
    Kilmarnock 3-2 Dundee Utd
    Ross County 3-2 Motherwell
    St Mirren 1-2 Inverness CT

Thought id post the scores as we actually won this week! (only our 2nd home win of the season). A cracking game aswell with 13 shots on goal, 30 freekicks and 5 goals. It could be a massive 3 points come the end of the season against our relegation rivals.

    1 Celtic 24 35 57

What a win for Hearts in the Championship yesterday! 10-0 at home to Cowdenbeath!

The big match in the Premiership today is between the leaders Celtic and 2nd placed Aberdeen.

An away win for the Dons would keep the title race open but if the Hoops take all 3 points they can go 6 points clear.

    Re: Scottish Prem/Champ 2014/15

    Celtic 4- 0 Aberdeen
    Dundee Utd 0-2 Partick Thistle
    Motherwell 2-1 Inverness CT
    Ross County 1-0 Dundee
    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock
    St Mirren 1-0 Hamilton

Celtic win the big game and more or less secure the title. 6 point clear with a game in hand is just too big a gap for the Dons to make up. It would surprise me though if the gap was any bigger come the last game of the season. County notch up a 3rd straight win - once again our end of season winning streak in now in full swing. Shame that Motherwll and St Mirren picked up shock wins but we stay in 10th due to amount of goals scored.

    FINAL
    Sun 15/03/15 Dundee United 0 - 2 Celtic

I don't think we mentioned that the Hoops won the league cu[ final last week to put Celtic on course to win a domestic treble.
Kris Commons and Jaime Forest scored the goals at Hampden Park. Dundee Utd had Sean Dillion sent off on 56 minutes in front of 49,000.

Congrats to Hearts who have won promotion back to the Premiership. Hibs suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat at home to Rangers.

Interesting news that Hearts are going to be sponsoring Save the Children on their shirts next season - like Barca did with Unicef. Apparently an annonymous donor is paying 1 Million to both the club and the charity.

    Re: Scottish Prem/Champ 2014/15

    Aberdeen 0-0 Partick Thistle
    Dundee Utd 1-2 Ross County
    Hamilton 1-1 St Johnstone
    Inverness CT 1-1 Dundee
    Kilmarnock 1-2 Motherwell
    St Mirren 0-2 Celtic

    1 Celtic 29 47 69
    2 Aberdeen 30 23 62
    3 Inverness CT 30 12 54
    4 Dundee Utd 29 7 46
    5 St Johnstone 31 -3 45
    6 Hamilton 32 -5 43
    7 Dundee 30 0 41
    8 Kilmarnock 31 -7 38
    9 Partick Thistle 31 3 35
    10 Ross County 31 -21 31
    11 Motherwell 31 -27 28
    12 St Mirren 31 -29 21

The Ross County revival continues - Motherwell also pick up a win against Killie. No suprises for the Celtoc win against the Buddies who must be destined for relegation now. I expect Partick to get pulled into the play-off picture too. We are not out of the woods yet with a tricky tie against St Johnstone followed by an away trip to St Mirren before the split.

    Rangers 2-1 Hearts
    Cowdenbeath 3-0 Dumbarton
    Falkirk 1-0 Raith Rovers
    Hibernian 0-1 Queen of Sth

    1 Hearts 31 67 81
    2 Rangers 30 27 58
    3 Hibernian 31 27 55
    4 Falkirk 32 5 52
    5 Queen of Sth 31 13 50
    6 Raith Rovers 31 -12 42
    7 Dumbarton 31 -36 33
    8 Cowdenbeath 32 -52 22
    9 Alloa 31 -22 20
    10 Livingston 30 -17 14

A surprise win for the Gers against the newly crowned champs even after going down to 10 men. People will no doubt be branding McCall a saviour!. If they survive til the end of the season then the play-offs look a little more interesting!.
