    more self-righteous drivel ffs.

i don't recall ANYONE ever referring to that famous Radford goal, which is used as FA Cup propaganda, as a shameful night for football. or drunken hooligans disgracing their club. or moronic behaviour.

i mean just look at these UNEVOLVED SAVAGES

like a pack of rabid hyenas staining the fine name of our game with their disgraceful delight. HOW DARE THEY ruin the sport for everybody, man, woman, child and beast??

i hope that every one of those delinquents are still behind bars to this day and all football matches are played behind closed doors henceforth. ENTERING THE SANCTITY OF THE PLAYING FIELD???? off with their heads!!!

There is big difference between that pitch invasion at Hereford all those years ago and what happened at Villa Park on Saturday night

Back then it was genuine football fans running on to celebrate a true FA Cup shock against a Newcastle side who were the clear favourites.

What we had at the weekend was a bunch of drunken morons looking for a fight with the West Brom and you could see the hatred on their faces.

Surely even you could see that Mr Hill or were you watching a different game?

so none of those who went on the pitch are 'genuine' football fans? how does that work? i've been on the pitch before (a few times actually - it used to be the norm especially for the final home game) - am i not a 'genuine football fan'?

you're inventing scenarios that dictate when it is and isn't ok to invade the pitch. that's just silly.

i doubt any of them on the pitch actually wanted to fight ffs. there were scenes of relief, of jubilation and of delight. all this in a competition we all moan has lost its meaning. people should be rejoicing that the 'magic' of the cup came scurrying back to life at villa Park.

the ONLY bit of all this that deserves proper condemnation is the utterly disgusting behaviour of the West Brom fans who were lobbing seats from the upper tier onto the Villa fans below. it's no exaggeration to say that could have killed someone and/or done some very serious damage.

    Mon 16/03/15 Reading 3 - 0 Bradford City

The Royals are through to the semi final and will face Arsenal at Wembley.

We also had a pitch invasion at the Madesjki stadium last night at the final whistle plus a Bradford
fan was arrested by the Police for racist abuse towards Readings Gareth McCleary when he was taking a corner.

The FA have asked both clubs for a report into the incidents.

Meanwhile Blackburn's replay with Liverpool will not take place until the 8th of April!

    Wed 08/04/15
    Blackburn Rovers 0 - 1 Liverpool

Coutinho scored the winner for the Reds in the 2nd half to finally end Rovers run in the FA Cup.
It was good to see a full Ewood Park and great atmosphere as Blackburn haven't had such a crowd since they went down from the PL.
