Adam Lallana has been voted as England's best player in 2016 after a vote by fans.
    Vardy was 2nd!

Nathan Redmond topped the poll for best U21 player.

Andy Carroll who only has 9 caps for England
could be set for a recall with Gareth Southgate due
to watch him this weekend before he names his next squad.

surely Jermaine Defoe deserves a look at too with his continued good form?

Jermaine Defoe is back for first time since 2012!
Rooney and Walcott are both dropped.
First call ups for Redmond,Ward Prowse of Southampton.

No Rooney. Shouldn't they have him as a honorary captain at least even if he is injured.

No Rooney? Defoe called up? Southgate must be tickling Steely's balls with that squad announcement!!

My interest in the England squad, the England team, England hopes, has dwindled to such a point I feel the need to re-post my "rude" football eleven. Five bonus power points to anyone who can come up with better selections...

SHAW????? what a F@cking joke that is! Gibbs has played that boy off the park this season.
No Walcott is an absolute disgrace ,simple as that .

Not just because of his attacking threat and record in an England shirt IN THAT category ,but because defensively he has been brilliant this season.

Ward Flipping Prowse and Livermore Ugh! .

I also think that Andy Carroll should have been re called as he gives us a different option.

I didn't notice Aaron Cresswell had got in the England squad.
I'm not so sure if he really deserved it as he hasn't been that
great for West Ham this season. I'd have gone for Kieran Gibbs.

We have another Spurs player, this time Kieran Trippier, more bias?!
