    Scottish Premiership/Championship 2015/16

The Scottish football league gets underway this weekend and the big question is - how many points will Celtic win the league by this year?!. As for County I was worried that we would be going down this time last year but i believe that Big Jim can lead us to a safe position this season and i would settle for a mid table finish - a lot of new players and a confident feeling around the club. First game away to Celtic - easy. bring it on!.

Incidently you can get an unbelievable 1/33 for Celtic to win the league this year - bargain!. Rangers are favourite for the Championship with Hibs 2nd.

As long as Celtic fail to win the domestic treble like they did last season then that
is a result as far as everyone else is concerned.
Maybe Aberdeen can give them one or two problems also and the newly promoted Hearts?
It would also help if Dundee Utd would stop selling their best players to the Park Head side all the time.

Will be interesting to see how former Brentford boss Mark Warburton does in his new job at Rangers.

    Premiership

    Hearts 4-3 St Johnstone
    Dundee Utd 0-1 Aberdeen
    Celtic 2-0 Ross County
    Hamilton 0-0 Partick Thistle
    Inverness CT 0-1 Motherwell
    Kilmarnock 0-4 Dundee

Hearts back in top flight with a cracker of a game. Dissapointed with the County result. Knew it would be a tough one but to give away a penalty in under 3 minutes was awful. Saying that we gave their defence some trouble and Craig Gordon should have been sent off for clattering Irvine just outside the box - it was an obvious goalscoring opportunity. Couldve bagged one at the end as well but never mind - playing away to Celtic and Willie Collum is the ref, youve got no chance!. At least Caley got beat!. Hope Dundee enjoy their spell at the top!.

    Celtic 4-2 Inverness CT
    Dundee 2-1 St Johnstone
    Hamilton 4-0 Dundee Utd
    Motherwell 1-2 Aberdeen
    Partick Thistle 2-2 Kilmarnock
    Ross County 1-2 Hearts

Dissapointing for predictable defeat to Hearts but at least it keeps Celtic in 2nd for the time being!. Dundee are looking like a different side this season too.

    Alloa 1-5 Rangers
    Falkirk 1-0 Raith Rovers
    Hibernian 1-0 Morton
    Livingston 0-1 Queen of Sth
    St Mirren 1-2 Dumbarton

Rangers raise no eyebrows with the win over Alloa they will surely win the league but will face a small challenge from QoS. St Mirren are finding life in the Championship a little tough at the mo - still early days.

    Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone
    Dundee 1-1 Inverness CT
    Hamilton 3-2 Hearts
    Motherwell 1-0 Kilmarnock
    Partick Thistle 0-2 Aberdeen
    Ross County 2-1 Dundee Utd

    1 Celtic 6 10 16
    t Aberdeen 5 8 15
    3 Hearts 6 7 15
    4 Hamilton 5 5 10
    5 Ross County 6 4 10
    6 Dundee 6 2 8
    7 Motherwell 6 -4 6
    8 St Johnstone 6 -3 5
    9 Dundee Utd 6 -6 4
    10 Inverness CT 6 -5 3
    11 Partick Thistle 6 -7 3
    t2 Kilmarnock 6 -11 2

Up to 5th after 6 games - canna complain really!. Above caley at any rate who have had an awful start to the season. No surprise to see Celtic at the top and Killie rock bottom.

    Queen of Sth 1-5 Rangers
    Alloa 0-1 Morton
    Hibernian 2-0 Raith Rovers
    St Mirren 1-1 Livingston
    Falkirk 2-1 Dumbarton

    1 Rangers 4 11 12
    2 Falkirk 4 3 10
    3 Queen of Sth 4 1 9
    4 Raith Rovers 4 3 6
    5 Hibernian 4 1 6
    6 Dumbarton 4 -1 6
    7 Morton 4 0 5
    8 St Mirren 4 -3 2
    9 Livingston 4 -5 1
    10 Alloa 4 -10 0

Rangers win against QoS is a big result and will inflict some huge psychological damage to the Gers only real challengers this season. Hibs continue to struggle.

Excellent 2-1 win for Aberdeen against Celtic last weekend plus they were down to 10 men also!
Who said the Bhoys wouldn't have any competition this season?

Only 7 games in though so I doubt the Dons will be planning the celebration bus tour just yet!. It would be nice to think that they could keep it going all season but they have a tendency to collapse under pressure.

Whats happened to Aberdeen recently Seamus?
They were flying at the top but have now lost last 2 and were walloped 5-1 at home by St Johnstone?
Also i see that your boys Ross County lost the Highlands derby 2-1 at home to Inverness.
They have still had a good start though compared with previous years.
Rangers still on a roll in the Championship with 9 wins in a row and looking much better under Warburton.

Aye, that 5-1 defeat really came as a shock but as i said earlier the Dons seem to crack under pressure.

The El Highlando result was very depressing. It is the first time in ages where we went into the game looking like we could beat them. Never mind - still feel confident of a top half finish.
