    Scottish Premiership 2016/17

The season is 3 weeks old and Rangers are top of the table by virtue of having played 1 more game than Celtic. County have unbeleivably climbed to 3rd despite 2 players walking out since the season kicked off!. A great derby win against Caley, who are slumped at the bottom of the table and an easy enough home win against Killie but now the hard fixtures come up. Away to Hamilton will not be an easy one even with Liam Boyce banging the goals in. The first Rangers v Celtic clash is coming soon - I think this is going to be refered to as the New Old Firm match!.

    Celtic v Rangers this weekend!
The Hoops should win really as they have a better team than the Gers at the moment plus home advantage.
Great to see the OLD firm derby back again in the SPL after a few years absence.

    Re: Scottish Premiership 2016/17

The game has been handed to Willie Collum to officiate. Which means an interesting game is guaranteed!. Some good odds to had online now.

10/1 Willie to send someone off before the kick off
25/1 Willie to award more than 5 penalties
50/1 Willie to send more than 4 players off
100/1 Willie to turn up at the wrong stadium

Any of them are worth a Tenner!.

    Result

    Celtic 5-1 Rangers!
That was some win for the Hoops today with Moussa Dembele scoring a hat trick against the Gers
I thought Celtic would win this but not by such a large margin
The visitors also had Philip Sendeross sent off to make it a miserable afternoon for Mark Warburton's side.

Didn't want to see Senderos sent off. Now he is banned for the match against County next week!.

Rangers have suspended Joey Barton for 3 weeks for allegedly betting on the football which is against the rules.

    Aberdeen 2-1 Rangers
    Hamilton 1-1 St Johnstone
    Celtic 6-1 Kilmarnock
    Hearts 0-0 Ross County
    Inverness CT 3-1 Dundee
    Partick Thistle 1-1 Motherwell

Aberdeen score a fantastic last minute free kick to beat Rangers and Celtic continue there good form with a 6-1 thrashing of Killie. Another well fought 0-0 draw for County that surely must put Scott Fix in with a shout of a Scotland call-up.

    1 Celtic 6 15 16
    2 Aberdeen 7 1 12
    3 Hearts 7 5 11
    4 St Johnstone 7 1 11
    5 Motherwell 7 1 9

    Aberdeen 4-0 Ross County
    Celtic 2-0 Motherwell
    Hearts 2-0 Dundee
    Partick Thistle 2-2 Hamilton
    St Johnstone 0-1 Kilmarnock
    Inverness CT 0-1 Rangers

County get walloped for 4 by the Dons, I was expecting far worse!, we have now slipped below Caley despite Rangers beating them on Friday. Celtic continue the unbeaten run and Dundee are still searching for a win.

    Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-3 Aberdeen
    Motherwell 2-0 Partick Thistle
    Rangers 1-0 Dundee
    St Johnstone 2-4 Ross County
    Kilmarnock 0-1 Celtic

We Won!!!!!!. First win in 10 games!!!. Elsewhere Celtic extend their lead to 10 points with a game in hand - yawn.

    Motherwell 3-4 Celtic
    Hamilton Academical 1-1 Partick Thistle
    Kilmarnock 2-0 Dundee
    Rangers 2-1 Aberdeen
Ross County 2-2 Heart of Midlothian
St Johnstone 3-0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Cracker of a game at Fir Park as Celtic fight back from behind twice to win the game. There were 3 goals in as many minutes!. County picked up a very useful point at home against Hearts and Scott Fox saved a penalty late on. Caleys loss sees them fall to the bottom of the table but there is only 3 points seperating 7th from 12th!
