    EFL Cup-Quarter Finals-2016/17

    Liverpool v Leeds
    Man Utd v West Ham
    Hull v Newcastle
    Arsenal v Southampton

Ties to be played w/c Nov 28th

I'm disappointed with our draw away at Man Utd.

Arsenal get another home tie, the Gunners always get so lucky in both cups!

We got knocked out of the competition in 2014 by Southampton.

Happy with the home draw against West Ham. There's bound to be some coin throwing antics of course, The Hammers fans know that the money being thrown around Old Trafford over recent years has not had any positive effect!.

Hopefully Leeds vs Liverpool will be a competitive match, once this would have been a clash of giants, but these days Leeds just don't have the players. I think Klopp will play a second string but if things go wrong you can be sure he'll have the "big guns" off the bench.

    Liverpool 2 - 0 Leeds United
Hull City P 1-1 Newcastle United

Ben Woodburn at 17 years old became Liverpool's
youngest ever scorer breaking the previous record of Michael Owen!

Have the Reds uncovered another home striker similar to the likes of Robbie Fowler? Etc

Man Utd vs West Ham. English league cup. Wednesday 30th November 2016. 20.00.

WEST HAM TO WIN @ 8/1

Not fully confident about this but know that Man Utd's astrology will be ace for the rest of the season...after this game. It may surprise you to know that I actually don't know Slaven's astrology - after all this time. Slaven is responsible for making Croatia - many years ago - the 3rd best national team in the world.

West Ham really like upsetting the odds with Manchester United, and, while they will be playing against Man Utd at old Trafford, there's every chance of an upset to take advantage of Man U's poor form now.

Small stakes advised and low confidence for this bet, but will post a possible potential upset at good odds...just for you big odds seekers. West Ham AND draw (double chance) for the safe bet.

    Arsenal 0 - 2 Southampton
Manchester United 4 - 1 West Ham United

Arsene Wenger decided not to take the League cup seriously and sent
his reserves for a run out who were beaten at the Emirates by a 2nd string Saints side.

Poor display from West Ham at Old Trafford with Ibrahimovic and Martial both scoring twice each.

The Hammers started both halves badly and with the injuries to Cresswell and Antonio it was a night for us to forget.

A good gutsy performance for a change. Looked lively from the start, maybe Jose should spent all games at a secret locaion (probably West London!). It was nice to see a game where every contraversial decision was not followed by a shot of Jose going nuts on the sideline. The draw was kind to us too, I wouldnt fancy facing Liverpool in their current form but a Liverpool v United final would be a great occasion.
