Well it was only a matter of time before we wore the championship side down ,but they made players like Xhaka look ordinary to say the least .
The player couldn't even boss this lot ffs, Ramsey either. it was so evident to me how shallow our depth is . And in this game i think we came off quite lucky ,because we didn't have anything on the bench as bail out clause . In the Bournemouth game Sanchez came back into midfield and put on a man of the match performance ,this one we didn't have that for anyone. I can see both Xhaka and Mustafi out of tis club within two season's ,just not good enough.
Wenger gambled with the players he took this game without a doubt and i reckon Preston looked upon it as a bit of disrespect and came out fighting.

    Cardiff City 1 - 2 Fulham
    Liverpool 0 - 0 Plymouth Argyle
    Chelsea 4 - 1 Peterborough U…
    Middlesbrough 3 - 0 Sheffield Wed
    Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 0 Aston Villa

Excellent result for Plymouth to get a draw away at Liverpool.
The replay back at Home Park will earn the Pilgrims a decent amount of money.

I got a ticket off Stubhub for 34 on Friday for our game against Villa, pretty pleased with the investment tbh, I'd love to see Spurs win the cup this season, I was pleased Poch fielded a pretty strong team, I thought Villa under Bruce would give us a hard game and so it proved.
Not really many "shocks" results wise elsewhere, though go on Plymouth I say, they took a big support to Anfield many of whom would have stayed overnight on Saturday in Liverpool or got up around 3am to make the journey, that's commitment...

In the Gospel according to Tony Pulis "We were Battered", obviously he was thinking of the cod he was going to have with his chips and apparently his meal was ruined by the tears he shed over it, get a bloody grip on reality man, you were beaten fair and square.
