    a pretty comfortable win with us having plenty of chances. obviously you can't take too much from it given it was against inferior opposition but there was some good showings particularly from Ayew, Sakho, Collins and Rice.

    there would have been hell to pay if we'd lost this having been forced to switch it to an away game so its a big positive to progress with relative ease. the cups are certainly something we should aim for but we have a sketchy record in this cup.
