    Newcastle v West Ham-26th August-3pm

Newcastle lost their last game 1-0 away at Huddersfield
are were also knocked out of the league cup by Bristol City last night.

West Ham were beaten 3-2 away at Southampton in their
last match and had Arnautovic sent off who will now be banned for this.

Two teams who have pretty crappy starts to the season, both desperately need to start picking up points. On paper West Ham have a better squad, I guess it depends on how the injury situation is for Saturday. Newcastle, however, will fancy their chances of making the home factor count, so on the narrowest of margins I'll go with the Barcodes.

Newcastle have suffered just one defeat
in their last 13 home matches against West Ham (W7, D5).

West Ham could lose their opening three league games for
the first time since being relegated in 2010-11.

I think the best the Hammers can hope for here is a 1-1 draw at Newcastle.

    Newcastle 3-0 West Ham

Another pathetic display from West Ham will leave us
bottom of the table as we go into the international break.

This is a disgrace and Slaven Bilic must take responsibility for this shambles.

If he can't manage these players then our owners need to find another coach who can.

    What a load of RUBBISH................

Yep, insipid display by West Ham, shambolic defence and powder puff attack. The commentator on the stream I was watching said Rafa is rumoured to be the next manager at the London Stadium, if so that would be a very good acquisition. I remember saying last season that Bilić wouldn't make it to Christmas, but he proved me wrong and picked up some results. Man, he really needs to turn this around quickly again if he is going to be enjoying Chrimbo 2017 as the West Ham manager. I say keep Bilić until the game against Spurs next month!
A very spirited display by Newcastle, they fully deserved the win. They made the most of what they have but they look a limited team to me, vulnerable in defence and a tad lightweight up front. They'll have some joy against teams like West Ham, but will be exposed against the better teams. They need to keep hold of Rafa to ensure survival in the league, he is their best asset.

Slaven Bilic is tactically inept and will be gone by the time
the PL returns after the international break.

we need a manager who knows what the feck he is doing.
